Our conceptual design process expounded..
1. Gather information: Between our initial & in-home consultation we extensively survey the clients and their home. We have very detailed questionnaires customized for each area within a house to better understand the client’s lifestyle & desired functionality related to each room. For example, during a kitchen survey we breakdown the 5 major functions of a traditional kitchen:
- Preparation (who, what, where, how, when) (applies to all 5 functions)
- Cooking
- Serving
- Eating
- Cleaning
In addition to the clientele lifestyle & functionality assessment, we spend a significant amount of time surveying your home. This home surveying procedure covers the fundamental information (measurements, existing materials, etc), but it also covers a thorough review of the house’s structure, mechanical systems, and overall character. Here are a few items covered during a home survey for a kitchen:
- Measurements
- Identification of existing construction & mechanical obstacles
- Identification of load bearing walls
- Determination of house structure
- Examination of exterior wall & roof material (when considering a new door, windows, etc.)
- Original design style & character of home
2. Prioritize Information: Throughout the initial & in home-consultation, our expert designer will help you determine which attributes/elements are most important and which attributes/elements are least important for the kitchen remodeling. The designer will then consolidate and prioritize the information, and begin the conceptual design process. The designer’s goal is to incorporate as many attributes/elements as possible without compromising fundamental design practices or the general aura of the space.
3. Present prioritized information via photo-realistic renderings: Once the information is gathered and prioritized, the designer will complete the conceptual design process and prepare the design presentation. All of the designs will be drawn using a CAD program, then modeled in a state of the art 3D rendering program, and finally photo-realistically rendered for your review (see example below).

Installation
You may utilize one of our preferred installers or your contractor of choice for the installation phase. *We have spent the past 20 years working with top installers providing the best Kitchen Remodeling solutions, and are now extending them to you.
Our preferred contractors are experienced (20+ years) installers that keep their overheads low (small crew, no billboard ads) and their quality high. We provide the installer with floor-plan, elevations, perspectives, dimensions, cabinetry plan, and general installation notes.
*Usage of preferred installers may be limited based on their working schedule.
